We will discuss your requirements and recommend the simplest suitable option.
No. We will ask about your business, services and customers, then prepare clear website content for you. You will review and approve everything before launch.
Once you approve the website and pay the build invoice, we will connect the domain, launch the website and begin managing it under your chosen monthly plan.
Depending on your package, management can include hosting, domain and SSL management, renewals, backups, technical updates, bug fixes, support and an agreed number of content changes each month. The exact inclusions will be confirmed before work begins.
A standard change is a small update that normally takes up to around 30 minutes, such as editing text, replacing an image, updating contact details or changing opening hours. New pages, redesigns, integrations and new functionality are quoted separately. The number of included changes depends on the selected package.
Yes. Your website is built to grow with your business. Features such as AI website chat, online booking, payments, lead management, online shopping and other custom functionality can be added later. Additional features may have a setup fee and an extra monthly fee.
Yes. Once the website build fee has been paid in full, the completed website belongs to your business. Merritt Digital retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, reusable systems, templates and internal technology used to deliver the project.
There is no minimum contract term. You can cancel your monthly management plan at any time by giving 30 days’ notice.
After the notice period, our hosting, backups, maintenance, support and other managed services will end. We will provide the website codebase, relevant customer-owned assets, a list of the services used and basic handover documentation. We can also manage the migration to a supported hosting provider for an additional migration fee. Additional work required by an unusual or unsupported hosting environment may be quoted separately.
No. You own the completed website and may move it to another provider. Our monthly management service is optional, although services such as hosting, backups, maintenance and support end when the plan is cancelled.
Yes. We can help register, configure and renew your domain as part of the agreed service. The domain should be registered for the client’s business, while Merritt Digital may manage the technical configuration on the client’s behalf.
Yes. Logo design and other graphic design work can be provided as an additional service through our designer. The price and deliverables will be agreed before the design work begins.
Every website is built with a strong technical foundation, including mobile responsiveness, fast performance, clear page structure, metadata and search-engine accessibility. However, Merritt Digital does not provide ongoing SEO campaigns, advertising management or guarantee specific search rankings.
We can review your existing website, retain anything useful and rebuild or improve it around your current business needs. The recommended approach and price will depend on the existing technology and how much can reasonably be reused.
